Terms of Service

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Mister Gere Ltd ("Wardict", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17229722), trading as Wardict.

By creating an account, submitting an idea, or purchasing a paid product, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You contract with Mister Gere Ltd, Wellingborough, England. You can reach us at warden@wardict.com.

The contract is formed when you:

• create an account, or
• submit your first idea for a verdict (whether or not you have an account), or
• complete the purchase of an Experiment.

To use Wardict you must:

• be aged 16 or over;
• be resident in the United Kingdom;
• have the legal capacity to enter into a contract; and
• not have been previously banned from Wardict.

Wardict is offered to UK users only. We may decline service or refund a purchase if we determine you are outside the UK or do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Wardict takes a written business idea and does two distinct things with it. First, it produces an AI-generated reading of the idea, including what it judges the most important open question to be. That reading is produced by a large language model (currently Google's Gemini) and is opinion and commentary. Second, where you approve and pay for a test, Wardict builds a page, buys advertising to it and records what real people did. Those recorded counts are observations of real behaviour rather than opinion, and the two are presented separately throughout the product.

Wardict is not a source of legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, business, medical or any other professional advice. It does not represent the views of Mister Gere Ltd, its directors, employees or contractors. See section 9 for the full AI disclaimer.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret and for any activity on your account. Use one account per person. Notify us immediately at warden@wardict.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. See section 11.

Free-tier users may submit up to three verdicts per UTC day. The cap may change with notice. Free verdicts are subject to fair-use limits and the abuse-prevention measures in section 8.

Tests: one-time prices

A test (an "Experiment") is sold at three one-time prices:

• First reading, £19.99. The advertising budget is set to bring about 100 visitors to your test page. Its result is a first reading: "Promising", "No demand shown" or "Too few visitors". A first reading needs 100 visitors from our ads.
• Full test, £99. The advertising budget is set to bring up to 472 visitors to your test page. Its result is "Passed", "Failed" or "No clear answer", read when the ads end. A result needs at least 300 visitors from our ads, and a pass can be read sooner when it is certain.
• Full test after a first reading, £79. The visitors that our ads brought to your first reading count toward the full test, and we bring the rest. This price applies only when the full test uses the same test page and the same question as the first reading.

What is counted. Everyone who comes to your test page while your test runs is counted, whoever brought them. Nobody is counted after your test has ended.

If our ads cannot bring enough visitors for a result, and you did not stop the test, we bring the visitors still needed at our cost, or we refund the price you paid.

An Experiment purchase gives you the generated test assets, the evidence tracking and the decision workspace for one specific verdict identified by its idea hash. Access is granted as soon as your payment is confirmed by Stripe and remains available for that verdict thereafter.

Your test starts straight away. When you buy an Experiment, we start work on your test at once: we build your test page and your ads, and we start to spend the advertising budget. Your test is complete when we send you its result (a first reading, or the result of a full test).

Your right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Before you pay, you ask us to start your test inside those 14 days, and you confirm that you understand the following:

• Your right to cancel ends when your test is complete. If your test is complete inside the 14 days, you cannot cancel after that point.
• If you cancel before your test is complete, we refund the price less an amount in proportion to the part of the test we have already supplied, measured against the whole test. That part includes the advertising budget already spent and the test assets already made available to you.

To cancel, email warden@wardict.com from the address you bought with, or tell us which case you bought the test for. We pay any refund within 14 days of your message, to the card you paid with.

A result is not a fault. A result of "No demand shown", "Failed" or "No clear answer" is a result of the test, not a failure of it, and it does not give a right to a refund. If we do not carry out your test with reasonable care and skill, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected (see section 13).

Pro Annual: no longer sold

From 23 September 2026 we no longer sell the Pro Annual subscription (£59 per year). If you hold one, it continues under these terms: unlimited verdicts and unlimited Experiments, bypassing the daily verdict limit, plus any other features marked as Pro. It renews automatically every 12 months at the same price unless you cancel before the renewal date, and we will tell you before any change to it.

14-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind within 14 days of starting your Pro Annual subscription, you may cancel and receive a full refund provided you have not generated any verdicts since the upgrade. As soon as you generate a verdict using your Pro entitlement, you accept that we have begun supplying the digital service and lose the right to withdraw under Regulation 37.

Outside the 14-day cooling-off window (or after first use of a Pro verdict), the subscription is non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the paid period; we will not charge you again.

Pricing, taxes and changes

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). No VAT is chargeable on our prices. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice; new prices apply from your next renewal. One-time prices for a test may change for new purchases at any time but will not affect a purchase already made.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We do not see or store your full card number or CVC. If a recurring payment fails and is not recovered after Stripe's standard retry window, your Pro Annual subscription will be cancelled and Pro features will become unavailable.

Your idea

You keep all rights in the business idea text you submit. By submitting an idea, you grant Mister Gere Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:

• send the idea to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate a verdict;
• store the idea and the verdict in your venture portfolio if you save it;
• store a normalised hash and a vector embedding of the idea in our cross-user verdict cache, so we can serve faster and cheaper responses to similar submissions; and
• use de-identified, aggregated information about submissions to improve and operate the service.

The verdict, generated assets and the service

Mister Gere Ltd owns the verdict template, scoring rubric, deep-dive formats, the Wardict brand, the website, the source code and the aggregated verdict cache. We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the outputs generated for you — including the verdict, deep dives, and any landing-page copy, designs, images, advertising creative, social copy and brand assets you generate — for your own business purposes, including publishing and using them in public and commercial marketing.

Generated assets other than the verdict are provided for you to use at your own risk: see the disclaimer in section 9. You are responsible for reviewing and clearing them before you publish them.

You may not (a) resell or sublicense the verdict format, (b) train another AI model on Wardict output, (c) scrape or bulk-extract verdicts from the service, or (d) remove or obscure any Wardict branding when sharing a verdict externally.

You agree not to:

• submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or violates any applicable law;
• use the service to harass, defame or harm any third party;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent the free-tier rate limit, abuse-prevention checks, or our paywall;
• access the service by any automated means (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) other than the publicly documented APIs we publish;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or model behind the service;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of the service without our written consent;
• upload viruses, malware or anything else that could harm the service or other users; or
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for any breach.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• verdicts may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or entirely fabricated (a phenomenon known as "hallucination");
• verdicts are not legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, business, medical or any other professional advice, and must not be used as such;
• you must independently verify any claim, source, citation or recommendation before acting on it;
• the service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE with no warranties, express or implied, including no warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, merchantability or non-infringement; and
• we make no guarantee that any business decision based on a verdict will succeed, save money, generate revenue or avoid loss;
• generated images, logos, advertising copy, landing-page copy and other non-verdict outputs are provided AS IS with no warranty of originality or non-infringement; they may resemble or incorporate third-party trademarks or copyright works, and you are solely responsible for reviewing, clearing and ensuring any generated asset complies with intellectual-property and advertising law before you publish or use it; and
• verdicts and generated pages may include or link to third-party web and forum content (for example cited sources and Reddit threads) which we do not control, endorse or take responsibility for, and which is provided for reference only.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded. See section 13.

Wardict is currently in beta. We do not promise any specific level of uptime or performance, on either the free tier or any paid tier. We may take the service down for maintenance, fixes, or to roll out changes, with or without notice. We may discontinue, change or rename features at any time.

If we discontinue Pro Annual entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your subscription.

By us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you breach these terms, abuse the service, are involved in fraud or a chargeback, or where we are required to do so by law. We may also terminate without cause on 30 days' notice; if we do so during an active Pro Annual subscription, we will refund the unused pro-rata portion.

By you

You may delete your account at any time by emailing warden@wardict.com. Cancellation of a Pro Annual subscription stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are available only under the cancellation rules in section 6.

Effect of termination

On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it (for example, payment records under UK tax law). See the Privacy Policy for full retention periods.

You agree to indemnify and hold Mister Gere Ltd, its directors, employees and contractors harmless from any claims, losses, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees arising out of (a) content you submit through the service, or content you publish using the service — including the personal data of third parties you collect through pages you publish and how you use that data, (b) your breach of these terms, or (c) your unlawful use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other UK consumer-protection law.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data;
• our total aggregate liability to you, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the greater of (i) £100 or (ii) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Because Wardict is offered to consumers, you retain all non-excludable rights and remedies under UK consumer-protection law, including the right to have a faulty digital product repaired, replaced or refunded.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change (for example, to pricing, paid-tier features, the AI disclaimer or these liability provisions), we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and through an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you may close your account and (where applicable) receive a pro-rata refund of any unused Pro Annual period.

Non-material changes (typos, clarifications, references) will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.

Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.

Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

No waiver. A failure to enforce any right under these terms is not a waiver of that right.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign these terms to a successor entity (for example, on a sale of the business).

Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that, as a UK consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the UK part where you live.

Our tools let you publish a public web page (a "demand test") at an address such as wardict.com/test/<name> to gauge interest in an idea before you build it. Before you publish one, you must accept our Founder Agreement, which sets out your responsibilities as the controller of any visitor data your page collects and how Wardict hosts the page and handles that data. The following terms also apply when you publish one.

• A page you publish is your content, published by you to the public web. You are solely responsible for it and for ensuring it is lawful, not misleading or deceptive, does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, does not impersonate any person or business, and does not present registering interest as a purchase, order or payment.
• We provide the hosting and technical means only. We may remove, unpublish or take down any page and its address at any time, at our discretion and without notice — including where we receive a complaint or believe a page is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or otherwise in breach of these terms.
• Where your page collects personal data from visitors (for example email addresses), you are the data controller of that data. You are responsible for your own data-protection compliance — including having a lawful basis, giving visitors any required privacy information, and following marketing and electronic-communications rules (including PECR) — and for how you use the emails and other data you collect. We host and store that data on your behalf; our role is described in our Privacy Policy.
• You agree to indemnify Mister Gere Ltd against any claim arising from a page you publish or from how you contact or use the people who register interest through it.

Membership of the Wardict Bureau ("the roll") is not sold on its own and cannot be applied for. You are entered on the roll when your payment for your first test (an Experiment) is confirmed, whatever the test later shows. Wardict itself holds No. 0000.

• Your number. Members are numbered in the order they are entered. A number is never reused, and it is personal to you: it cannot be transferred.
• When an entry is withdrawn. If the payment for your first test is refunded before any real person has seen the test, your entry is withdrawn and the number is not given to anybody else.
• Signals, the evening before. While you hold a number, you may read each edition of the Warden's Weekly Signals from Monday 19:00 London time, before it is sent to everyone on Tuesday at 09:00. If an edition is published later than Monday 19:00, you may read it from the moment it is published, still before everyone else. If you also subscribe to the Signals, we send you one short email when it opens.
• First through the door. When we open a new kind of test or a new part of the service, we may let members use it before we announce it. We decide what is released this way and when.
• The yearly object. Once a year we make one object for members of the roll. It is not sold. We will ask for a postal address before we send it, and you do not have to give one.
• Changes. We may change a privilege, or replace it with one of similar value, by telling you by email at least 30 days before. Your number, your letter of admission and your card are not affected by such a change.
• When membership ends. Your membership ends if your entry is withdrawn as above or if you delete your account. Your number is not reused.
