Service Agreement
Terms of Service
Effective from: 20 May 2026
Last updated: 21 May 2026
Overview
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Mister Gere Ltd ("Wardict", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17229722), trading as Wardict.
By creating an account, submitting an idea, or purchasing a paid product, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who we are and how this contract is formed
You contract with Mister Gere Ltd, registered office 14 Fields View, Wellingborough, England, NN8 1LZ. You can reach us at warden@wardict.com.
The contract is formed when you:
- create an account, or
- submit your first idea for a verdict (whether or not you have an account), or
- complete the purchase of a Pilot Report or Pro Annual subscription.
2. Eligibility
To use Wardict you must:
- be aged 16 or over;
- be resident in the United Kingdom;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a contract; and
- not have been previously banned from Wardict.
Wardict is offered to UK users only. We may decline service or refund a purchase if we determine you are outside the UK or do not meet the eligibility criteria.
3. The service
Wardict is an AI-powered service that takes a written business idea and returns a "verdict" — an AI-generated score and analysis. The verdict is automatically produced by a large language model (currently Google's Gemini). It is opinion and commentary, generated for entertainment and exploration.
Wardict is not a source of legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, business, medical or any other professional advice. It does not represent the views of Mister Gere Ltd, its directors, employees or contractors. See section 9 for the full AI disclaimer.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret and for any activity on your account. Use one account per person. Notify us immediately at warden@wardict.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms — see section 11.
5. The free tier
Free-tier users may submit up to three verdicts per UTC day. The cap may change with notice. The referral programme can grant free Pilot Report (Full Report) unlocks redeemable against specific verdicts, capped at 5 free unlocks per user. Free verdicts are subject to fair-use limits and the abuse-prevention measures in section 8.
6. Paid services
Pilot Report — £5.99, one-time
The Pilot Report unlocks a downloadable PDF and additional deep-dive sections for one specific verdict identified by its idea hash. Access is granted as soon as your payment is confirmed by Stripe and remains available for that verdict thereafter.
14-day right of withdrawal. The Pilot Report is digital content supplied immediately on payment. Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 applies in full to Pilot Report purchases. If you wish to withdraw, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the price paid. Outside the 14-day window, refunds are only available where required by law (for example, where the report is faulty in a way we cannot remedy).
Pro Annual — £59 per year, recurring
Pro Annual unlocks unlimited verdicts, unlimited Pilot Reports, the Evidence Locker and any other features marked as Pro. The subscription renews automatically every 12 months at the then-current Pro Annual price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
14-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind within 14 days of starting your Pro Annual subscription, you may cancel and receive a full refund provided you have not generated any verdicts since the upgrade. As soon as you generate a verdict using your Pro entitlement, you accept that we have begun supplying the digital service and lose the right to withdraw under Regulation 37.
Outside the 14-day cooling-off window (or after first use of a Pro verdict), the subscription is non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the paid period; we will not charge you again.
Pricing, taxes and changes
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). No VAT is chargeable on our prices. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice; new prices apply from your next renewal. One-time prices for the Pilot Report may change for new purchases at any time but will not affect a purchase already made.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We do not see or store your full card number or CVC. If a recurring payment fails and is not recovered after Stripe's standard retry window, your Pro Annual subscription will be cancelled and Pro features will become unavailable.
7. Intellectual property
Your idea
You keep all rights in the business idea text you submit. By submitting an idea, you grant Mister Gere Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:
- send the idea to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate a verdict;
- store the idea and the verdict in your Evidence Locker if you save it;
- store a normalised hash and a vector embedding of the idea in our cross-user verdict cache, so we can serve faster and cheaper responses to similar submissions; and
- use de-identified, aggregated information about submissions to improve and operate the service.
The verdict and the service
Mister Gere Ltd owns the verdict template, scoring rubric, deep-dive formats, the Wardict brand, the website, the source code and the aggregated verdict cache. We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the specific verdict generated for you for your personal and internal business purposes.
You may not (a) resell or sublicense the verdict format, (b) train another AI model on Wardict output, (c) scrape or bulk-extract verdicts from the service, or (d) remove or obscure any Wardict branding when sharing a verdict externally.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or violates any applicable law;
- use the service to harass, defame or harm any third party;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent the free-tier rate limit, abuse-prevention checks, or our paywall;
- access the service by any automated means (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) other than the publicly documented APIs we publish;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or model behind the service;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of the service without our written consent;
- upload viruses, malware or anything else that could harm the service or other users; or
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for any breach.
9. AI disclaimer — please read carefully
Important
Verdicts are generated by an AI model. They are opinion and entertainment, not professional advice. Do not rely on them for any material decision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- verdicts may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or entirely fabricated (a phenomenon known as "hallucination");
- verdicts are not legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, business, medical or any other professional advice, and must not be used as such;
- you must independently verify any claim, source, citation or recommendation before acting on it;
- the service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE with no warranties, express or implied, including no warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, merchantability or non-infringement; and
- we make no guarantee that any business decision based on a verdict will succeed, save money, generate revenue or avoid loss.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded — see section 13.
10. Service availability
Wardict is currently in beta. We do not promise any specific level of uptime or performance, on either the free tier or any paid tier. We may take the service down for maintenance, fixes, or to roll out changes, with or without notice. We may discontinue, change or rename features at any time.
If we discontinue Pro Annual entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your subscription.
11. Suspension and termination
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you breach these terms, abuse the service, are involved in fraud or a chargeback, or where we are required to do so by law. We may also terminate without cause on 30 days' notice; if we do so during an active Pro Annual subscription, we will refund the unused pro-rata portion.
By you
You may delete your account at any time by emailing warden@wardict.com. Cancellation of a Pro Annual subscription stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are available only under the 14-day cooling-off rules in section 6.
Effect of termination
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it (for example, payment records under UK tax law). See the Privacy Policy for full retention periods.
12. Your indemnity to us
You agree to indemnify and hold Mister Gere Ltd, its directors, employees and contractors harmless from any claims, losses, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees arising out of (a) content you submit through the service, (b) your breach of these terms, or (c) your unlawful use of the service.
13. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other UK consumer-protection law.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data;
- our total aggregate liability to you, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the greater of (i) £100 or (ii) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Because Wardict is offered to consumers, you retain all non-excludable rights and remedies under UK consumer-protection law, including the right to have a faulty digital product repaired, replaced or refunded.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change (for example, to pricing, paid-tier features, the AI disclaimer or these liability provisions), we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and through an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you may close your account and (where applicable) receive a pro-rata refund of any unused Pro Annual period.
Non-material changes (typos, clarifications, references) will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
15. General
Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver. A failure to enforce any right under these terms is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign these terms to a successor entity (for example, on a sale of the business).
Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except that, as a UK consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the UK part where you live.
Before going to court, we encourage you to email warden@wardict.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
